History of Philanthropy

Check Into Cash started from humble beginnings in 1993 and grew to the large direct lending payday advance company that it is today, with more than 300 Check Into Cash locations in over 20 states. We take pride in being the best in customer service and helping people who have short-term credit needs in their community. But we also work to establish corporate citizenship by embracing the needs of the community.

Over it's lifetime, Check Into Cash has regularly supported causes like the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Relay For Life, United Way, TN Achieves, and Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Many of our stores serve as a collection site for the Toys for Tots program during the holiday season. We also regularly send support for communities recovering from natural disasters.

Check Into Cash's founder and chief executive officer is also widely regarded for his philanthropy and dedication to giving back to the communities that Check Into Cash serves. In 2000, he established the Allan Jones Foundation to actively contribute to health, social betterment, educational, cultural, civic, historical, and environmental projects as well as other charitable organizations whose programs and objectives promote quality of life.

In his hometown in southeast Tennessee, Mr. Jones regularly lends his financial support to the sport of wrestling and donations of trees. His philanthropy also includes giving to the University of Tennessee athletics programs and numerous other local, state, and national high school and college programs. He has donated to museums, natural preservation programs, the Boy Scouts program, the Red Cross, and other worthy causes.
