Connie loves her life on her grandparents’ apple orchard. As a child, she spent her summer days there, helping with farm activities. Now that the property has been passed down to her, she’s excited to share her family’s delicious apples with even more people.
When her coworker mentions their town’s upcoming fall festival, Connie is excited to participate. She makes plans to sell fresh apples and her grandmother's applesauce, keeping her grandparents’ legacy alive and joining in the fun community event. The extra income will also support some of her projects for the orchard.
Connie prepares her stock of freshly picked apples for sale and begins to make batches of her grandmother’s coveted homemade apple pies and apple sauce.
Connie also begins planning her booth for the festival when she remembers she has her grandfather’s old horse wagon, which is still in good shape. She can revive it with some elbow grease and creativity. Connie also adds some sentimental items from the orchard. She hangs her grandfather's lucky horseshoes and paints one of her grandmother’s quilt patterns on to the side of the wagon. Connie feels like her grandparents will be with her on the festive day.
The only thing she still needs is a new wagon wheel so Connie visits her local Check Into Cash for a payday loan and gets the wagon rolling again.
Festival goers love the wagon and her apples and pies are a huge success. With help from Check Into Cash, Connie reconnects and revives her family's orchard in her local community.
